Quick answer: in Contatos (Contacts), click the arrow next to the address, or select several people and click Pedir confirmação do endereço (Request address confirmation). The person gets an email with a secure link to check and correct the details.
Request the confirmation
- In Contatos, click the arrow next to the delivery address. For several people (up to 100 at a time), select them and click Pedir confirmação do endereço.
- Check who will get it and click Mandar e-mail (Send email).
- The contact gets a clock next to the address. The Aguardando confirmação (Awaiting confirmation) tab gathers those who haven't replied yet.
- When the person confirms or corrects it, the clock turns into a check for "Confirmado pela pessoa" (Confirmed by the person), and you get an email with what changed.
Tip: tracking and rating emails also include the link Mudou de endereço? (Changed address?), so the person can update it any time.
Limits
- One email every 24 hours and up to 3 in 30 days to the same person.
- Doesn't work for contacts with a CNPJ (the address comes from the Federal Revenue) or without a valid email.
- The change applies to the next shipments, not to one already sent.
