Understand shipment types: single, batch and large shipment

Last updated: October 23, 2026

The beuni platform is in Portuguese. Buttons and menus appear in bold as they show on screen, with the translation in parentheses.

Quick answer: a single shipment goes to 1 person and a batch goes to several. The platform decides by the number of recipients. A large shipment is above the automatic quote limit, and our team quotes the freight with other carriers.

The three types

Type When it happens How freight works
Single shipment 1 recipient Automatic quote on the spot
Batch shipment Several recipients, chosen from contacts or a spreadsheet Automatic quote on the spot
Large shipment Volume, quantity or weight above regular carriers' limits Sob cotação (Upon quote), done by our team

Single and batch shipments start from the same screen. See Request a shipment.

How a large shipment works

  1. When the shipment goes over the limit, the price shows as Sob cotação.
  2. Choose the delivery option: Turbo, Entrega programada (Scheduled delivery), Mais rápido (Fastest) or Mais barato (Cheapest).
  3. Click Confirmar e solicitar cotação (Confirm and request quote).
  4. Our team quotes with other carriers, following your choice, and emails you when the price is ready.
  5. Approve the price in Envios > Envios individuais (Shipments > Individual shipments) and the shipment moves on.

Until approval, the shipment shows as Aguardando cotação (Awaiting quote).
