Send a surprise gift

The beuni platform is in Portuguese. Buttons and menus appear in bold as they show on screen, with the translation in parentheses.

Quick answer: when creating the shipment, turn off E-mails para quem recebe (Emails to the recipient). No one in the batch gets tracking emails. For a single shipment, turn it off later in Envios > Envios individuais (Shipments > Individual shipments).

By default, gift recipients get beuni emails with the tracking code: when the package goes out for delivery, when it's waiting for pickup and when it returns to beuni. In a surprise shipment, these emails aren't sent.

Turn off emails for the whole batch

  1. Create the shipment as usual and click Selecionar frete (Select freight). See Request a shipment.
  2. Below Enviando para N endereços (Sending to N addresses), in E-mails para quem recebe, click the switch.
  3. Read the warning and confirm with Sim, desativar (Yes, turn off).
  4. Choose the delivery and click Criar lote de envios (Create shipment batch).

Turn off for a single shipment

  1. In Envios > Envios individuais, click the shipment's row.
  2. In E-mails para quem recebe, click the switch and confirm.

Recipients without alerts show a crossed-out bell next to their name. You can turn it back on any time; the change applies to the next emails.

Important: use it only for surprise shipments, like a press kit. Without the emails, the gift is more likely to sit at the carrier and come back.
